The Grass Is Always Greener On Landscape Design Software

How’s the yard looking these days? Are you 100 percent satisfied with your lawn or is it missing that extra something? When I take a gander around my neighborhood at all the pristine and perfectly manicured yards, I really start to wonder if I should be doing more. I mean my grass is cut. The fact that it looks brown and decrepit is another matter. It’s crystal clear to me that most middle class suburbanites put loads of time into caring for their lawns. Now, I’m not knocking it in any way. It’s merely an observation. How much time and effort do you put into your landscaping? Well, for those of us with little knowledge on how to go about this, there is always wonderful landscape design software well within reach. Are you stoked and ready to get that yard in order?

Have you ever tested out any landscape design software? This was a fairly new concept to me last year. I saw that my neighbor was taking full advantage of this contemporary aid. He had purchased some nifty landscape design software online and was using it to completely re-do his lot. I mean he was truly giving his piece of land a make over. This was brilliant I realized. It’s always prudent to enhance your lot if you plan to sell it in the future and make a profit. Property value in nice areas tends to rise, but you’re much better off if you give your house and yard an added flare.

After watching him fix up his lot with a variety of beautiful flowers and bushes, I certainly became interested. He even put in a row of trees for privacy. This was brilliant. Why didn’t I think of that? It’s not like it was brain surgery or rocket science. Soon enough I had purchased some similar landscape design software. It was high time for my wife and me to increase the value of our spot of land. After tearing out six juniper bushes and a dead tree, I was exhausted. My wife then added a wonderful assortment of flowers, and treated our lawn to make it more green and vivacious looking. Within a month, things were looking great.

Hey, if you would like to enhance your land, simply hop on the web and check out the new age landscape design software. There are a variety of great products to choose from. The great part is it’s all at your fingertips.

Work But Relax In Your Lawn And Garden

As a keen gardener, I like to take good care of my large lawn and garden. It’s a lot of work, but enjoyable. I know some people who have gone for the low maintenance option and got rid of the lawn, replacing it with decking or gravel. I need the exercise, so I don’t mind the weeding, watering and mowing. Some people have lawns like velvet and maybe I’ll achieve that one day. You have to keep up to a lawn and garden and that means regular watering in the Summer. In England, there is often a water hose ban in the South East which makes it awkward for gardeners. I keep two rain butts in my garden.

Grass in it’s wild state is not meant for cropping, so your lawn will need feeding with fertilizer so it receives enough nutrition. Fertilizers usually contain nitrogen for promoting a thick growth, phosphorus for encouraging growth in the leaves and roots and potassium for building up resistance to disease and bad weather. If you have a large area to cover, you can use a Broadcast Spreader to spread the fertilizer. Mowing is a necessary part of lawn and garden stewardship. Hand mowers are less expensive than the rotary mowers. I’m lucky enough to have a lawn tractor which is fun to ride. A Brush Cutter will cut the rougher grass around trees etc. A Rotary Edger will cut the edges and keep them neat.

When designing a garden, you need to plan your different areas. I like a mixed garden with lots of different features. Rock gardens and pot plants will cut the work down for a lawn and garden. You could have paths criss crossing the garden, laid with block paving, beach pebbles or concrete slabs. A conservation area with wild flowers is attractive, and encourages butterflies and bees. I have a small pond with koi fish, aquatic plants and water lilies. It’s very relaxing to sit and watch the fish on a warm Summer’s evening. I can stay out in the garden these days with the lights and outdoor heaters that are available.

My dream garden, which I hope to have one day, will be a walled garden. It will be big enough for lawn and garden, with an orchard, herb garden and a vegetable plot. Perhaps there will also be room for a gazebo where I can relax after a hard afternoon’s gardening.
