With all of the different cell phone companies viciously competing with each other for customers, buying a cell phone is downright idiotic. The best thing to do, is to find a plan that offers a mobile phone for free or at least for very little and sign up for it. I guarantee that almost any cell phone plan will make this offer, so you are doing yourself a favor by not buying cellphones outside of your plan. There is just no point to it.

I am signed up with Verizon and every time that I need to buy a mobile phone, there is always some kind of cheap deal that they offer. Either the phone is free, or at least it is offered with a great discount that makes it cost almost nothing. Even the one time where I had my cell stolen about a month after I got it, there was still an offer available to buy a mobile phone for very little money with a rebate on top of it. How could you even consider buying a cell phone at some store for full price, or something close to it when such deals are available to you?
