Pretend You Are A Wizard With Harry Potter Trading Card Games

What is your favorite film? These days it seems like most people are intrigued by the “Harry Potter” series. As you probably already know, this series of films comes from books. Since the books were so popular, the movie industry decided to cash in on the novel’s success. At this point I am thinking it was a very wise choice indeed. Today you can head out to the local toy store and find everything from Harry Potter broomsticks to a Harry Potter trading card game. Whatever your interest may be in the lovable little wizard, you can purchase as many collectibles as you wish.

Are you interested in purchasing a Harry Potter trading card game for your child? Are they a major Harry Potter fan? My daughter is practically addicted to this story. Although she is only seven and has never read the books, she loves the films. Who can blame her, right? They are rather intriguing even to adults. My mother even purchased the Harry Potter trading card game and some other collectibles. This is funny because she is over the age of 60. I guess Harry Potter truly is for any age group. I can still recall the first Harry Potter film we saw in the movie theater. I couldn’t believe how packed it was. It was like I was sitting in “Star Wars” or something. This was definitely a phenomenon that I knew nothing about at the time. It wasn’t long before I realized that “Harry Potter” was a very big deal to many.

Who is your favorite character in the Harry Potter trading card game? Are you a big fan of Ron or Dumbledor? I know, I know - it’s difficult to pick just one. Personally I like Professor Snake. He is the sneakiest one of the bunch. I am still trying to decide if he is good or evil. Oh well, I’m sure J.K. Rowling will let us know before the story is through. Anyway, if you are interested in the Harry Potter trading card game, or maybe some of the other propaganda, then maybe it’s time to get online. There is literally oodles and oodles of this stuff if you look for it. Get it while it’s hot and before people start selling it on e-Bay for more than it’s worth. Maybe some day you will want to be a wizard as well.

The Memories Of Mermaid Pictures

When you are considering purchasing a new piece of artwork for your wall the last thing you are probably thinking about is mermaid pictures. When most of us think of mermaids we think of a woman with long flowing blond hair whose legs have magically been transformed into a fish tail. Granted most adults don’t think about mermaids on a regular basis, but there is a group of people that do. Young girls love the mystery and beauty of these sea creatures and if you have a small lady in your life it’s a given that sooner or later she’s going to become fascinated with everything mermaids, including mermaid pictures.

After Disney’s release of the movie “The Little Mermaid” the notion that a mermaid was appealing took off. Little girls were dressing as Ariel, the mermaid for Halloween and their bedrooms were adorned with blankets, toys and clothing that depicted mermaids. Mermaid pictures were very popular. Not all of the mermaid images that found their way onto bedroom walls were purchased though. Children have such active imaginations and it’s not uncommon to visit the bedroom of a pre-teen girl and find a mermaid picture or two that she’s drawn.

Coloring books are also filled with things that children love. Puppy dogs, kittens, flowers and mermaid pictures can be found inside just waiting to be filled in with color so they can jump from the page. It’s wonderful to walk into a home with small children and see a refrigerator or bulletin board covered with pictures all torn from coloring books. The crayons marks are usually running outside the lines drawn on the page to create beautiful and priceless works of art.

Although much different than the fantasy of becoming a Princess, a mermaid does have its charm. For one, a mermaid can swim and she’s always beautiful regardless of how much time she’s spent under the water. You’d be hard pressed to find any mermaid pictures that show one with wet hair.

As children grow they begin to understand that some things aren’t real. No longer do they wait for Santa Claus to come down the chimney and the Easter Bunny becomes a distant memory. The same is said for mermaids. Once a youngster realizes that there really aren’t pretty girls swimming under the ocean they will quickly lose interest in actually becoming one. They will still glance at the images of mermaids and remember a time when they wanted very much to be that beautiful graceful creature. They’ll think of that every time they see mermaid pictures. And as those young women grow into mothers themselves they’ll find a renewed interest in the mermaid pictures that their own daughters draw for them.
