It’s time to wrap them snugly around a hot cup of cocoa and get cozy on the sofa. But wait, something is definitely missing from this picture. You know what you want, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. Don’t worry, I’ll give you a hand. What you need is a nice roaring fire. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. A warm and cozy, calm crackling American fireplace always does the trick. What are you curled up in front of? Well, if you’ve yet to attain that ideal fireplace, then it’s time to get busy.

Although I experienced the gas concept first, I still prefer the wood-burning American fireplace. There’s just something about going out back and chopping your own wood, then stacking it for the winter. I love that stuff. When you choose a wood burning fireplace, you get all the benefits of a real fire. This means you can roast marshmallows and hot dogs. Maybe you’re in the mood for smores. Not to mention you get that incomparable sound of crackling wood and whipping flames.
